Open: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 9:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please call for holiday hours. The Richmond Museum is open to the public with a wide range of collections, temporary and travelling exhibits, programs, and special events for people of all ages. The purpose of these activities is to increase public awareness and appreciation of Richmond's diverse history. The collection was started by the Richmond community in 1961. Collection holdings include archaeology, ethnology, textiles, furnishings and artefacts significant to agriculture, fishing, transportation, recreation, communications, business and technology.
